End User License Agreement — ContextMeter

This is a license agreement between you ("the user") and MuJo Software ("we") for the use of the ContextMeter application ("the software"). By installing or using the software, you accept the terms below. If you do not accept them, do not install or use the software.

1. License to use

The software is licensed, not sold. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, free license to install and use ContextMeter on Mac devices that you own or control, for personal or professional use.

2. What is not allowed

You may not:

sell, rent, sublicense, or distribute the software for a fee;
decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the software, except to the extent permitted by mandatory law;
remove or alter copyright notices, trademarks, or other proprietary notices;
use the software unlawfully or in violation of the rights of others.

3. Ownership

The software, its code, graphics, and the "ContextMeter" name are and remain the property of MuJo Software. This license does not transfer to you any ownership rights in the software.

4. No warranty

The software is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the software will run uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will be compatible with every future version of macOS or of the Claude app.

In particular: ContextMeter relies on reading files generated by a third-party application (Claude). An update to that application may change its behavior and render ContextMeter temporarily inaccurate or unusable. We will make reasonable efforts to update the software, but we cannot guarantee its continued operation.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MuJo Software shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the software. Mandatory consumer protections provided by law remain unaffected.

6. Termination

This license remains in effect while you use the software. It terminates automatically if you breach these terms. You may terminate it at any time by uninstalling the software.

7. Governing law

This license is governed by the laws of Italy, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you reside.
